The Covino Family

This photoshoot is the epitome of my “why.” My reason for being so passionate about capturing families—helping moms get back in their own photos, documenting their legacies, and capturing those gorgeous timeless moments for years to come.

Marny and I met purely by fate; I ended up in her chair at the dentist’s office, and I likely backed up the entire office schedule that day because we could not stop chatting. It was love at first teeth cleaning.

Many years (and babies!) later, we remain friends, and it has been an honor to be witness to the Covino family’s journey.

Our photoshoot day started with a text from Marny telling me that her 2-year-old had thrown up in the car, so upon arrival I greeted them with hugs and baby wipes. We merged our mom powers, cleaned her up, changed everyone into their sweet outfits, and continued on with the shoot, as only moms can.

The morning was hot, but we kept the kiddos entertained with some fun games and prompts to elicit those gorgeous natural smiles and giggles! Then, they turned it into a game of their own by walking over to pick some wildflowers and creating some beautiful memories.

It warmed my heart to be part of their family for even an hour and capture these special memories for them. I literally drove home crying happy tears from their beautiful energy, and could not WAIT to edit this gallery!
